Andrea has been involved in competitive sports beginning at a young age with gymnastics & competition swim. In High School she was on the swim team, soccer, and track & field teams . After graduating college she began training for and competing in marathons, half marathons and sprint triathlons. Andrea began Brazilian jiu-jitsu after moving to MA in 1999. First stepped on the mats, at the urging of a co-worker, in October 2011 at Worcester MMA/ Team Abusado under the tutelage of Dan Simmler.
